New Straits Times - Malaysia News Online: "To hold the Lebanese Government responsible for the attacks by Hizbollah is equivalent to blaming, say, the Irish Government for every bombing in London by the Irish Republican Army. Just as it would have been unthinkable for Britain to invade Ireland and flatten Dublin airport, there is no basis in international law for the Israeli assault on Lebanon."
According to our government there is no need for a basis in International Law and the Israelis act with our backing. Who do you think will stand up against them or us? The Russians? The Chinese? Fuck no. No one will stand for them except maybe Iran and thats only if they can gain something from it.
The Lebanese people are on their own in this one and they will surely pay a heavy price for the capture of one lone soldier.
